Consulting firm: The firm was actively involved with the problem of nursing home abuse. Seeking national, legislative involvement, we scheduled six Washington DC meetings with five members of the Illinois delegation. We also wrote an article on the severity of senior citizen abuse that had at least 11 reprints across the United States.
Investment banking firm: Wrote a white paper that would clearly explained a difficult process in securing debt. Using the white paper, he signed three new contracts within one week.
Activist, author and speaker: Through the efforts of SpencerConnect, garnered his own T.V. show, on Rocky Mountain PBS, which is seen in four states .He also appeared on the Taylor Baldwin Show on U-T television in San Diego, and the national, syndicated radio show Experience Pros.

Illinois Manufacturing company: Company was forced to suddenly close its operation due to an unexpected revocation of a bank line of credit and being unable to meet payroll. An employee takeover of the plant led to national media coverage. Management was unprepared and inexperienced in dealing with this type of situation. We were able to shift the story from management to the bank. Arranged interviews with the New York Times and Chicago Sun-Times, allowing management to explain their side of the story.
Public company preparing for a spinoff IPO, lost its underwriter in the 11th hour. We singularly designed, coordinated and implemented three successful client road shows – including one road show featuring 42 private meetings over a 10 day period in seven cities to find a new underwriter and gain analyst coverage. When the new underwriter was contracted, we assisted with the successful creation of the syndicate.
Florida construction company truck was struck and killed a 6-year old boy riding a bike on a freeway off ramp. We were brought in and worked with the corporate counsel to manage the situation, and advise the company’s president on what actions to immediately take and not take. The company statement, and systems to manage the situation were in place within two hours. We continued to monitor the situation over the following three day.
Social media platforms are ever evolving, with new sites coming on line daily. We were early adopters of LinkedIn (February 2004; and actively use LinkedIn, Twitter, Google Alerts, Facebook, Blog Talk Radio, WordPress, Plaxo, Google+, Pinterest.
Canadian IT companies: Created 30 meetings for 12 Canadian ICT companies seeking capital with 22 U.S. and one Swedish private equity firms using LinkedIn and Twitter. Total time expended – 35 minutes.
Professional help needed with LinkedIn profiles: We wrote and edited 24+, individual profiles and 14 company page. Various appropriate apps were used to add videos, white papers, success stories, PowerPoint presentations, etc to those profiles. And then incorporated the profiles into traditional and broad reach social media campaigns.
Sales training and consulting firm: The firm needed to promote its training program. We audited all three phases of the blog an wrote 26 blog posts on each class offered. The blogs were posted on the firm’s website and distributed through social media.
Training seminars: Presented LinkedIn seminars to various groups. Instead of the usual “here’s what I know and do,” the seminars were strictly answering the questions of the audience. Participants were offered 30 minute private, phone consultations.
